It’s extremely important to check if your property roof is able to support the weight of the solar panels. If you are in an area of natural beauty, or a conservation area, you will need to check if you have the required permission to install solar energy products at your property.

The maximum number of Solar Panels allowed!

Most UK residential properties have an incoming single phase supply. This would mean that the maximum number of solar panels allowed in the UK is 3.6KW. A three phase supply would allow a maximum of 10KW. If you wish to install more, permission must be granted by your Distribution Network Operator (DNO). However, be aware this approval process can take up to 60 days.
